Recent Projects and Accomplishments:
Yarra Tram –
Victoria, the recently supplied 1C 400mm2 LV Feeder Cable to the railway company was a total challenge for us considering the customer’s extra requirements in the cable construction. These are to provide LSHF insulation with a temperature rating of 110ºC and a Tinned Copper Rope Laid screen with both meeting the specified Minimum Bending Radius of 352mm. As a result, the customer was very satisfied with the high quality of the finished product and also on this occasion, WW Cables on time delivery performance has been exceeded once again. - Cadia East Gold Mine –
Orange NSW, an opportunity arose to supply 3km of 3C 185mm2 Cu/XLPE /SWA/PVC 11kV Red Sheathed power cable to the mining site of Cadia East. Considering the large quantity of the order, WW Cables had to utilise its proven outstanding logistical management in terms of manufacturing and delivery capacities, so as to exceed customer’s requirements and expectations. As a result of our great team effort in supplying not only a high quality product but also with the on time delivery surpassed, the feedback from the customer was very inspiring to all of us
- James Cook University – Townsville QLD, WW Cables was confident to tackle the challenge in the supply of a 4km 3C 240mm2 Al/XLPE/CWS/HDPE/Nylon/PVC 11kV TRIPLEX power cable to this academic institution. The customer’s special requirement was to provide a 13.1kA/s copper wire screen for this TRIPLEX medium voltage cable. Due to our excellent manufacturing and logistical capabilities, we successfully supplied another high quality cable along with our well known on time delivery.
- Downer EDI – Boddington Gold Mine WA, an excellent opportunity to supply a 1800m of 1C 240mm2 Cu/XLPE/PVC 6.6kV to this mining site was a proof of our expanding coverage in the WA mining sector. An effective means to gauge our company’s position in the cable market is through repeat business with previous and satisfied customers of WW Cables.
- Eneabba Mining Site –WA, the increasing popularity of WW Cables’ Duarareel Reeling and Trailing Cable range has given us the opportunity to supply a 300m of high quality Type 260 50mm2 11kV RT cable to this mining site in Eneabba, WA. The level of difficulty required to manufacture this rare cable was to provide armour consisting of steel ropes while maintaining its much needed flexibility. We are proud to say that this is a testament of WW Cables' customer service guaranteed satisfaction.
